Uganda Editors’ Guild Launches Journalist Insurance Scheme

The Uganda Editors’ Guild is pleased to announce a new Medical and Personal Insurance Scheme for vulnerable journalists, effective November 1, 2025.
The initiative is designed to provide essential coverage for journalists working in challenging environments.
Key Details:

Eligibility: Preference given to female journalists, upcountry-based reporters, frontline election coverage teams, and those with a proven industry track record.

How to Apply: Submit a letter of motivation and supporting documents to info@ugandaeolitorsguild.org.
