The Editors’ Guild exists to strengthen editorial leadership, uphold ethical standards, advocate for safety of journalists and create a community of editors committed to public interest journalism.
Through its work, UEG contributes to building a resilient, inclusive, and accountable media ecosystem that serves citizens’ interests, reinforces democratic governance, and amplifies the integrity of journalism in Uganda.
